It is computed once a month and summarizes how close the archipelago is to the conditions of a complete destination. It does not replace today’s status: it is the trajectory, not this afternoon’s weather.
- December 31, 2028 — if the index does not reach 2.8, the project’s mandatory review is triggered.
- December 31, 2030 — if it does not reach 3.5, the experiment is rescinded, verified by external audit.
The project published, in writing and with a date, the condition under which it must stop. No other destination publishes the conditions of its own shutdown.

Method — how we read certainty
- Verified live (V)
- The source measures right now: weather satellite, live aircraft radar, seismic service, wave sensors.
- Estimated or published today (E)
- The official source published today’s value, or the system computes it with a pre-registered, visible rule.
- Indirect signal (P)
- The value comes from a public trace: it can warn that something got worse, but it can never certify on its own that all is well.
- Field report (O)
- Someone from the team, on the island, confirmed it today.
- No report
- There is no data yet. The system prefers an honest blank over an invented number.
