About this instrument

What it is

Corredor Verde is the public window of the system that measures the state of the Nueva Esparta archipelago every 15 minutes: electricity, water, weather, connectivity, flights, ferry, sea conditions, roads, public safety, medical emergencies and regional seismic activity.

It sells nothing, books nothing and promotes no destinations. Its job is to report what the sources say, with the certainty level of each reading visible on its own card. Whatever has no source today shows as «no report»: the system prefers the honest void to inventing a number.

Who operates it

This instrument is operated by the same Margarita team that runs the tourism servicesGlobal Rent a Car,Margarita Go 360,Sunset Realty and thePlaya El Yaque project.

The data does not come from those businesses: it comes from external meteorological, geological and radar services, and from the team's own field report from the island when the reading allows it — labeled as such on each card. If the state of the territory is inconvenient for any of those services, the instrument publishes it all the same.

How it measures

• Every reading carries its certainty level: verified live, estimated, indirect signal, or team report. The explanation lives on the status page itself.
• Every state change stays on the public log, with date and time.
• The destination's monthly index is published with its exam dates: if it does not reach 2.8 out of 5 by December 2028, verified by external audit, the project's mandatory review is triggered; if it does not reach 3.5 by December 2030, the experiment is rescinded.
• The public API serves the same data this page reads — anyone can audit it:isla-api.998877gl.workers.dev.
